Our friends help us help others
Urban Connection Ministries realizes launching and maintaining the Urbean Café is a huge task, especially in light of its role as a life-changing experience for its workers. Others have partnered with us, including:
The Job Center
The Job Center? Think of it as the Workforce Mall. The Job Center in Summit County is a facility where
more than 20 workforce service providers are housed under the same roof to better serve the needs of
both businesses and job seekers.
Working In Progress
Working In Progress is a non-profit social service agency that provides a Transition Plan for
disadvantaged African-American youth ages 14 to 18. Some youth may come from low-incoming
homes in the Akron urban area. The Transition Plan prepares and enables students to make the transition from the world of school to the world of adulthood. The agency believes that making the connection between learning and earning is the key to developing our future workforce and entrepreneurs.
KIJIJI Corporation
